According to numerous analytical forecasts, hydrogen is one of the main elements in the future of renewable energy and the low-carbon world economy in general. Efficient production, storage and transportation of hydrogen to consumers is urgent for penetration into energy systems. Among the existing technologies of hydrogen transportation, at this stage of market development, good technical and economic indicators are demonstrated by liquid organic hydrogen carrier (LOHC) technology. This technology allows short-term and medium-term balancing of the energy network and move relatively large amounts of hydrogen over medium distances.
